Omersa has been designing and creating hand crafted leather footstools since 1927. Our product is Made in England to order by a team of talented leather workers.

We have been exporting our charming footstools to Europe since the 1960’s. The Omersa leather pig is well known in Germany and our rhinoceros, hippopotamus and elephant continue to be firm German customer favourites.

The original creator, known fondly as „Old Bill“, designed from offcuts of leather a pig footstool in 1927. Today our classic, high quality products continue to surprise, thrill and intrigue our customers. We continue to use traditional methods of craftsmanship and the finest raw materials to produce items that are adaptable to a diverse range of spaces and decor due to their simplicity of design and functionality.

Our collaboration with DAS STUE hotel, Berlin

We love the story of our collaboration with Hotel Berlin Tiergatan, SO/Berlin Das Stue.

We have been a part of this hotel since its re opening in 2012. Our wonderfully tactile, artful animals form part of the captivating interior design concept of the hotel and create much intrigue with Das Stue’s guests. As a reminder of their stay, Das Stue invited us to supply animals from our miniature range for customers to purchase and take home. The tradition continues and today the hotel stocks an extensive selection – hippo, rhino, giraffe, dachshund to name but a few! It is a wonderful story that we are so happy and proud to be a part of.
