Josie
‘Hello, I’m Josie and have been custodian of the OMERSA brand since 1999. I have learnt the business from the bottom up and today am involved in the financial and strategic aspects of the business.
I love the creative side of OMERSA seeing the team bring the animals to life and the joy they bring our customers who are appreciative of the quality that makes the OMERSA brand so special.
I have several “favourites” – happy hippo, magnificent superking rhino, large Galapagos, to name a few – however, my companion at home is the 1st sample made of the standard sized pond frog who I adore for his low key attitude and simple styling. He is adorable.’
Caroline
‘Hi I’m Caroline, Ive worked here for 6 years, I currently work as operations director and my aim is to run the company to the exceptional standards set by my mother (Josie). Omersa extremely important to me and my family as it has been with us for 25 years. My favourite animal is the Elephant because of their big ears and the contrast with the ivory white tusks.’
Saffron
‘Hi I’m Saff, I have been a part of Omersa for 5 years and have worked in all areas of production! The main focus of my role is adding the finishing touches to your animals and making sure they arrive looking their best. My favourite animal is the pond frog because I love the shape of its feet and cheeky face.’
Bex
‘Hi I’m bex, I joined the Omersa team 3 years ago and my role in the workplace is a seamstress and pattern cutter, so I am at the beginning of the production of the animals. my favourite animal is the small Angus bull because its cute and the perfect size.’
James
‘Hi I’m James, I’ve been working at Omersa for 7 years now and my main role is stuffing the animals. I work on all sizes but tend to do the larger pieces. My favourite animal is the SuperKing Rhino because of their size and easiness to stuff.’
Jack
‘Hi I’m Jack, I work at Omersa in the stuffing room and my favourite thing about the job is having a creative output. My favourite animal is the Bulldog, but my favourite to stuff is the whale’
Jo
‘Hi I’m Jonty, Ive been working at Omersa for nearly 14 years, where I started out stuffing the animals. Now I do everything from staining to dispatch, making sure animals arrive at their new home safely. My favourite animal is the giraffe because of their like life features and overall cuteness. ‘

‘Hi I’m Dan L, I’ve been working at Omersa for 5 years as a stuffer. My favourite animal is the Lion because they are kindred spirits and they look majestic in all sizes’.
Emma
‘Hi I’m Emma, I’ve been working at Omersa for 5 years, I work primarily as a stuffer but sometimes wax and stain the animals. My favourite animal is the Small Highland Cow because I think they’re cute, but my favourite to stuff is the Miniature Tortoise.’
Harvey
‘Hi, I’m Harvey, Ive been working at Omersa for 7 months on an apprenticeship and my role includes overseeing and execution of the marketing efforts. My favourite animal is the Ram because I like their stature and striking features.’

‘Hello my name is Dan and I have been with Omersa since 2010, as part of the team I see my role as an artisan bringing each animal to life by carefully crafting and shaping every piece to the highest quality, I take pride in all animals I produce but if I had to pick my favourites they would be the large horse and large giraffe with the giraffe standing head and shoulders above the rest’
